American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Through successful completion of this course, students will have gained the knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Registration begins March 2nd, space is limited and classes will fill fast. Enrollment will be limited to 15 participants.
The course will last approximately 40 hours. Attendance to every class meeting and successful demonstration of all skills as well as an 80% on the written exam are mandatory to pass the course. Students will learn all the skills needed to become certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Course books and CPR masks are included. Prerequisites: Course participants must be 15 years of age by the completion of the course. Participants will be tested in course prerequisites at the beginning of the 1st class.

Swim 300yd Front Crawl or Breaststroke
What to bring:
Bathing suits, towels, sack lunch & drinks, pen and paper, and a change
of clothes.
