Our contract with Republic Services (formerly Allied) has a provision for Republic to make price adjustments annually based on changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Republic Services (Allied) is putting a rate increase into effect January 1, 2015. This is in the contract and the calculations they used are in total compliance with the terms of the contract. The increase is 80% based on the CPI of Water, Sewer and Trash prices, and 20% on #2 diesel fuel costs. The 80% CPI of W/S+Trash would account for +5.55%; and the 20% of #2 Diesel is -1.315% which combined, result in a 4.23% increase. So the Quarterly rate will go from $49.50 +tax to $51.59 +tax. Additional carts will go from $18.00 to $18.75 per quarter. As a reminder, they did not have a price increase last year, which they could have done according to the contract.

    Anderson Mill Recreation Guide Online

Anderson Mill Limited District was created 12/31/2008 at 12:01 AM as part of the Strategic Partnership Agreement(Tx. Local Govt. Code, Sec 43.0751) signed in 1998, and amended in 2004, between the City of Austin and the Anderson Mill Municipal Utility District. This agreement's goal was to allow for a relatively smooth transition into the inevitable annexation of Anderson Mill by the City of Austin. Copies of these documents are available on this site on the Limited District page. The Limited District was ratified and given taxing authority by an election of the voters in the District on May 9, 2009.

The District is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the residents and who must be residents of the District. There are 5 directors, elected to four (4) year terms. The terms are staggered with 2 or 3 positions on the Board elected every 2 years. Elections are held on the first Saturday in May every two years.

Anderson Mill is a community of approximately 11,000 residents. The Limited District's mission is to provide quality, safe and accessible recreation programs, facilities and parks that meet the leisure service needs of Anderson Mill. Thank you for your continued support and feedback as we strive to anticipate and meet the various recreational needs of residents. Enjoy perusing our website.
